I have been involved in many weddings, each of them unique and different. At every one I have spent the entire day setting up, decorating, and helping with other things in addition to my own tasks. These things did not pertain to my work, but I saw the need and wanted to make sure the wedding was just as special as my own daughter's wedding. Making sure the lighting was just right, the greenery artfully placed. I wanted to ensure that everything was in order, doing things that were above and beyond my financial obligation.
